Sheriff Fred J. Abdalla
Proudly serving Jefferson County for over 32 years, Sheriff Abdalla has worked with adjoining law enforcement to reduce the crime within the Ohio Valley. Sheriff Abdalla has numerous hours of training and schooling within law enforcement. The Sheriff , his Deputy sheriffs and staff are dedicated to the citizens of Jefferson County.

Sheriff Abdalla is also a US Army veteran, and served 2 years in Vietnam. In his time with the Army he received many awards including:

- National Defense Service Medal
- Vietnam Service Medal
- Bronze Star Medal
- Republic of Vietnam Campaign Ribbon with Device
- Authorized the Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross with Palm Unit Citation
Sherif Abdalla is also an advocate of many special programs, and has earned many awards within the community including:
- Community Service Award from the Salvation Army
- Community Service Award from First Choice Federal Credit Union
- Sheriff Reserves’s Fundraiser to help less fortunate citizens
- Has provided Toys for Tots since 1970
- As well as donating thousands of dollars to:
